I have found a work around:
If you add a comma at the end after adding a new tag for the first time, the tag gets recognised and when you then click Update, the tag is added correctly.

Hi, perhaps I am doing something wrong, but I cannot see where to create tags for news items since the recent changes. I always used to add a News content part, choose a tag in there like "homenews", then create a news item and type in the same tag "homenews" so only news items t...

Therefore I know I need to upgrade to the latest version. I have done this before and it solves the problem. I have currently 1.5 installed. Am I right in ...

Re: Fckeditor doesnt work, error: cant load fckstyles.xml
Hi Knut, thanks very much! That first link you provided gives the following solution: in the fckstyles.xml, change: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> to <?= '<' . '?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?' . '>'; ?> and so far the editor now works fine witho...

Fckeditor doesnt work, error: cant load fckstyles.xml
Hi, I have installed phpwcms many times before, but installing the latest version (1.4.5 r398) on a new server has thrown up an error when I try editing using fckeditor. The editing window doesn't display when using fckeditor default, and on IE I get the following error: Error loading "http://w...

Re: Can't get past SUPERUSER SETTING in installation
Hi, I had this problem again (it happens every year or so when I install a new version of phpwcms on a new clients server). For the benefit of others, Oliver is right when he says the MySQL has probably been set up in strict mode. This is my problem every time, because I use shared servers via a hos...

Re: Help with 1.3.9 Shop Module in English
Update:
I have got the items to save by changing the '$phpwcms['SESSION_FEinit']' variable to 1 in the conf.inc.php file, as someone suggested in another thread.
Edit: This has solved the problem.
Thanks

[SOLVED] Help with 1.3.9 Shop Module
I wondered whether someone could write a tutorial on how to get the shop module working correctly in English, for 1.3.9, or if one exists, point me in the right direction. I have used some of the hints in other threads for previous phpwcms versions, and can set up the back end of the shop module OK ...

Re: Help - "error while connecting to database:"
Hi, i found a way to fix my problem, maybe it will help you Aaron. For me it turned out that the later versions of MySQL differ slightly, having an automatic strict mode switched on. This means that It doesn't like the assigning of a default nothing value to a NOT NULL field. If you do a search for ...

I've called the tech support for the clients hosting, and their response was that they believed that the creation of tables/content from an installation script such as this would not be possible on their servers. I am not sure whether this guy new what he was talking about, but i know that their hos...
