Hi. I was using it to make a catalog only page, not a true shopping cart. So I cannot really help on this, and besides I stopped using it and started using exData. The programmer of exData is also trying to include this shopping cart on his code, so I'll have the best of both worlds (eventually) :D ...

Hello.
As far as I can tell, no exData does not allow a frontend user to submit data.
Right now that's what I'm using to do that:
http://phpformgen.sourceforge.net/
Among other things you can select fields from an existing database and make the form populate them.
