don't know why you can't edit the articles.. what does it say when you try to save the changes? I cannot edit articles because nothing would show up. No article header, no button, not a thing. Only the backend page layout.

Seems like I have exactly the same one. I moved to a Windows server (don't ask, I'm still mad on my hoster) and now I have white blank pages/articles in front-end and can NOT edit articles back-end.
