Re: FTP Takeover not working
Thank you for your hints, the second problem was, that I didn't chmod all files. I haven't investigated the initial problem but I moved the whole phpwcms installation to another server (which was already running phpwcms) and after that the ftp takeover was working without any problem (after chmod of...

FTP Takeover not working
Hi all, I use the latest release r307 and it seems that FTP Takeover in File Central is not working. I get the following error messages: selected files uploaded via ftp will be taken over! Warning: getimagesize() [function.getimagesize]: Read error! in /cms/include/inc_lib/backend.functions.inc.php ...

Re: File Center not working
Hi, for your information: I solved the problem, it was a missing column in table phpwcms_file, namely f_sort. This column is added with the upgrade_script from v1.4 to 1.5 and it seems that the problem was, that i am using a table name prefix. So the upgrade script obviously ran with errors (which I...

Re: File Center not working
Hi,
the table phpwcms_file exists, I have an overall of 45 tables.
I will try to upload the folders you mentioned and give it another try.
regards, Mike

Re: File Center not working
hm, can you pinpoint that to a special right on a special table? If so I can ask my DB-Admin to change the rights accordingly.
The installation of phpwcms did run without errors...

Re: File Center not working
Hi, thank you for your answer.
There is no quota in place so no problems there. I have not tried uploading a picture without creating a folder, I will try that later today.
regards, Mike

As far as I can remember I had to switch to php 4.4.2 version because with my php 4.3.11 the captcha image also didn't show up. And the then most recent php5 version didn't work neither, so if your hosting provider supports switching php version then first try this (or try it on localhost). I did no...

Captcha-Bug or configuration problem ;-)
Today I upgraded to 1.2.7 and tried the captcha functionality in the guestbook. The image is rendered correctly in size, but it seems that the letters are overlapping. The image itself is 5 letters wide but all 5 letters are rendered on the position of the first letter. It looks like this: http://ww...

Re: disappointed 2
But wouldn't it be much easier if people came aoround with their teasing news at least close to some beta release dates??? I think it is not important if the code is pre-alpha, beta or whatsoever. It is not necessary to have a perfect codebase or a finished product to share it with others. If the b...
