I prefer to hire a specialist to do this.
Then I will do what I do best, thereby earning the money to pay that specialist.
PHP, setups, backups - not my cup of tea.

Will stick to 1.1 RC4, it is stable and working. Why bother?
I've choosen a CMS to focus on content, not on PHP specials.

when trying to look up images, I get an ID[1] error
I then have to re-login.
this could explain the crashes . . .
all directories are set on 777.

I can upload images with filke manager (PHPWCMS v 1.2.5)
I can see the directory listing of all uploaded files.
I cannot inspect any iamges anymore. Eiter filemanager crashes or I see a completely different figure
I cannot use the images in article centre: the image browser does not show any ...

when I reach the level grandson2a, father should be 'normal', that is not grey but white text.
I think I use SIMPLE,that is all I can find in conf.template_default.inc.php.
does this help?
