Re: Deleting surplus files
No luck. Still does not delete the file or move it to the trashcan. Thanks for the suggestion.

Re: Deleting surplus files
Would updating the phpwcms from 1.7.1 to 1.8.6 be likely to help? I did the update to 1.7.1 about a year ago and this problem may have come up at that point as this is the first time we have tried the delete function.

Deleting surplus files
Using v1.7.1 I am trying to delete photos in the "file" section using the private files tab. I recognizes the request to delete the file and asks if I really want to do it, then it does not delete the file or put it in the trash can. Is there a fix for this?

SOLVED: Content on Child Pages Lower on Page
Thanks for the suggestion Knut. Makes sense for someone who could not manage to spell Content. I tried it but it did not correct the problem. So I cleared table holding the CONTENT and replaced it with a DIV tag with 20px of margin. It solved the problem and is something I should have figured out ...

Re: Contend on Child Pages Lower on Page
I have added child pages to other categories and do not seem to have the problem there. I will delete the offending category and rebuild. If that corrects it I will add the correction to this posting.

Contend on Child Pages Lower on Page
I am using v1.6. When I create a sub directory in the structure the content for the sturcture area appears lower on the page leaving excessive white space. I have tried a new template, a new page layout and an alternate content part. Nothing seems to correct it. If I show the summary it does come up ...

Re: SPAW2 editor bug in IE9
Thanks. I have noticed that the same problem is occuring with FCEditor in phpwcms 1.5.2. Is there any editor that can be substituted that will work? Again, Firefox and Chrome are fine.

Re: SPAW2 editor bug in IE9
Is this the same problem. When I try to add or edit a link or add or edit a photo in an article the browser crashes, IE9, and the only choice is to close the browser.
Firefox and Chrome work fine.

Re: WAMP Installation fails
Yes, the index file is in the right place. I have actually done quite a large number of phpWCMS installations because it is a great program. This is the first time I have had this problem and it is only on the WAMP server. And, as I said, earlier versions have worked fine and other CMS systems work ...

Re: WAMP Installation fails
Thanks, but that discussion did not seem to help.
What I can't understand is why an older version of phpWCMS worked and the new version does not. Also WordPress and Joomla! work just fine. This leads me to suspect hat phpWCMS has a change and is looking for the PEAR folder but I have no idea where ...

Re: WAMP Installation fails
Actually the installation is in the "henry" directory, not the setup directory. However when I try to access the index file in the root I get the following:

WAMP Installation fails
I set up the latest version, 1.4.7 on my testing server, WAMP Version 2.0, PHP 5.3.0, Apache 2.2.11 and MySQL 5.1.36. When I try to run setup I get the following message.
