Re: Plain Text Line Breaks in 1.3.9 r213
Thanks all for your comments that have been very useful. For me the problem is solved following your suggestions. :) I don't know how could "main_column p {... }" be implemented, because it does not work from the main stylesheet :( , but the option of defining the style for <p> is good eno...

Re: Plain Text Line Breaks in 1.3.9 r213
thanks a million heiko basically it works, using [BR] replacement tags I can modify the amount of space between the end of a paragraph and the beginning of the next one... but there are some disadvantages... 1. personal disadvantage: unfortunately my website has more than 100 pages, most of them usi...

Plain Text Line Breaks in 1.3.9 r213
Hello, After installing 1.3.9 r213 (congratulations Oliver, good stuff there!) I realised that two or more line breaks in a paragraph when using the Plain Text content part are not shown on the frontend as spaces between lines... It seems that it is because they are replaced for a (just one) <p> tag...

Re: filearchive folder & ftp takeover
thanks a million for your answer "filearchive/can_be_deleted/" is writable (777) and that works perfectly when I delete a file using the delete option in the backend. but my problem is specifically when I upload files with the ftp takeover feature , the old ones should be automatically del...

filearchive folder & ftp takeover
I am using 1.3.3 and the facts are as follows: - I was creating a picture gallery and uploaded around 50 pictures using fto takeover - the pictures were too big, so decided to upload a smaller versions of them using ftp takeover again to the same file directory. All of them had the same name and &qu...

Come on. What kind of community is the one based on money??? I am still interested in PHPWCMS, but not working professionally with it anymore, mainly because of the lack of a real community. I really appreciate Oliver's job, but can see the point of this new vector of action... 1. If I am not wrong ...

title format in conf.template_default.php
I use version 1.3.0, when I want to modify the format of articles' titles and subtitles I open conf.template_default.php and change the following lines: $template_default['article']['title_before'] = '{GT:title}'; $template_default['article']['title_after'] = '{/GT}<br><br>'; $template_default['arti...

My questions were intentionally rough. But they must not be read as a critic to Oliver. This is something I want to say clearly. The only thing I would say to Oliver if I had the chance to meet him is ' thank you '. I do not share the uncollaborative side of phpwcms, but he has created one of the be...

10 questions (not quite politically correct)
Well, without any introduction... Any kind of answers accepted ;) 1. Could PHPWCMS have a future without Oliver Georgi? 2. Is PHPWCMS interesting enough for developers, that they would join the project in a more open, transparent and organised platform? 3. On the other side: Is PHPWCMS interesting e...

Sometimes I'd say OG uses light years: I'd say the problem is not delays but lack of transparency and, mainly, the distance between OG and other people working in PHPWCMS or -worse- people who could be working on it but they can't because OG never show a real commitment to any kind of collective wor...

well, if I am not wrong websites of 1996 are still browseable... And it would be a big loss for the www if new browsers cant read old pages... big amounts of information would be lost that way... new standards can appear, but that doesn't mean that we will be forced to redesign all our old jobs... (...

well, i was not working with phpwcms 10 years ago... lucky me, that means that the end date is 2016, not now... so i have plenty of time to solve the issue. Thank you for the idea of using a SQL query, that way is definitely easier that changing each date in the backend. Anyway, the suggestion of no...

default end dates
I never checked the default end date  when creating an article, and now I realize that they will not be shown anymore after 10 years from its creation date, if i don't fix the issue before Of course, phpwcms has not to be a cms for dumb people as me , but I think it would be better if th...
