Translating made easy

Hi!

I suggest using poEdit for translating phpwcms in future releases. This would make it much easier to keep track on translations for new features.

Check it out!

Hi CMSlover!

1. Question: The 5 radio buttons can be seen only after an article was created and clicking on "Add content" button, is it correct?

Answer: This is correct. Content positioning is not intended for articles but for content-parts. This means that no content will be shown without an ...

Updated zip

Hi!

I noticed some minor path errors in the previous zip on ionrock Development site. I posted new files today (2004-03-02). The new zip should contain only four files.

Solved: Content part-tag

Hi CMSlover!

I have posted a new set of files to Ionrock's phpwcms development site . You should find only four files in the new zip. Some users might have experienced other problems since I noticed I had left my own path-settings in act_articlecontent.php. I've set these paths back to Olivers ...

Hi Pappnase!

I have mailed files and instructions to ionrock's phpwmcs development site. The URL is http://ionrock.umemusic.com/index.php?develphpwcms

I don't really know what you mean with "most user use oliver georgi layout". I guess the advantage with using replacement tags is that you can use ...

Hi Pappnase!

Your suggestion sounds a bit complicated. Maybe it's ok if the user wants to put a specific content part somewhere but what if someone would like to modify any previous articles? They would have to do a whole lot to modify the placement of any articles/content parts.

I have modified ...

Summary alignment

Hello!

I don't know if this is a bug or feature but it doesn' t look good on the page..

I tried to put an image in the summary of an article and noticed that the article listing is aligned to the the left of the first articles image. This might give the impression to a visitor that the next ...

Hi Adriano!

Now I understand your problem. The reason is quite simple. index.php is not really an article itself, it just contains instructions for what to extract from the database (eg. listing of articles) since the index page is not an article there is nothing related to it, only articles have ...

Re: Templates for content too

../i.e. "Releated articles" but no related articles, because they show up only with their headlines and summary. When I click to an article, then there the related function is needed and used, i.e. will show the content and to this the related articles.

Dunno if I understood your question but try ...

 I just discovered that theres a function called function list_articles_summary in front.func.inc.php. Could I use this for my purpose? I guess that means I have to write a separate replacement-tag

Extending {NEW:}

Hi!

I found out that it would be very convenient to be able to also define ARTICLECAT in the {NEW:} -replacement tag. Especially if you are working with a multilingual site with cathegories for Enlish, German etc.
