The problem was in the first cell of the table, which contains 2 images of 760pix without any separation between them. Whith a simple <br> between them or including each one in a <div> it all works fine again.

I have been spending a lot of time before I have decided to ask your help. But not enough ...

I have applied your solution, writing a new template, as you say.

But it has the inconvenient that then title is listed as an article if "list of articles" is used..

Do you know if there is any tag to print the category name?

Well.. not really.. The list appears if the category contains more than one article.

Just before of submit this message I have tried to increase the space before and after each content part, but the result was not very polite, because at any change on the text, this space has to be changed to maintain the same aspect.

I'd like to create a list of images with a description of each one. I want to present them like a table of 2 columns: images at the left ant descriptions at the right.
To do it I have choosed several "text w/ image" types of content. The result shows like a stair: each new image is listed at right ...

As you said in the email, everything is ok.
The error comes from only one file. I have erased it and uploaded again, and the error message has disappeared.

In http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=25876 there is a user who suggest to add this line before the session_start():

ini_set("session.save_handler", "files");

And seems that the error desappear...

I have consulted the hosting service to know about the real php configuration and it seems that JPG support is enabled. They says that this is the good one:

I have to correct the information above..

In both domains, the configuration of GD in the PHPINFO is diferent if the link comes from Cpanel or from the link in phpwcms admin area. In the first case there is no reference to JPG. In the second this field is included..

uops.. I see now that in the gd configuration there is no comment about JPG.. May it be the problem.. isn't it..?

I have instaled another phpwcms in another domain, but at the same server with no probl to upload any kind of images.. but I see that there the configuration is diferent:

I obtain the same error that jimbOO says. I'm using the phpwcms v1.2.3-DEV and GD2. (I have tried GD1, but don't works al all.. images apears corrupted)

I was using "galeria" in both subdir and new structure level..
I have rename one of them, an that's all:
