with iframe i could bring it to run now. The problem remains, that iframes need to have a fixed hight, and the album has not always the same hight.
But i can live for the moment with that, thanks.

no, i just tried to add a simple text content part, and placed there the link to the embedding script.
{PHP:G2_emb.php}

This way i could successfully implement the singapore gallery before i decided to change to gallery 2.

I use as media gallery the new version 2.0 of

I am very satisfied with the tool, but i could not implement it within my phpwcms site so far.

Does anyone has experience with the new menalto gallery version or can give me tipps ...

Well, it is more a cosmetic question. I have other things (fotoalbums ect) on the same webspace, and wanted to have the phpwmcs stuff in a subdir, so that i have separated all this stuff from the other.
I saw then, that many discussions about rewrite and subdirs are in this forum, i thought, there ...

Hmmm, easiest way? Are there other ways? I am hosting multiple domains on my webspace, i really dont like to move all the folders and files to the root.

I know, there is a lot written in this forum about rewriting, but i did not found so far the answer to my question:

phpwcms is installed in a subdir, and i dont want to show the subdir path in the url. Is this possible?

I want: http://www.mypage.ch/index.php instead of http://www.mypage ...

OK, thanks. Remains the problem with the file permissions when browsing in the directory of the phpwcms file manager, right?
Can we expect, that this gets solved in future? It would be a great advantage, when it will be possible to use one file storage for wysiwyg and the normal content part images.

Would it be possible to use FCKeditor with the functionality of the phpwcms imagebrowser, when inserting an image?
Since the files in the phpwcms filestorage have cryptic names now, it would be helpful to see all the pictures as a thumbnail-list, like when working with the normal content parts ...

What does that now really mean? When moving a site to another domain, all inserted images have to been fixed manually, or what?
I would prefer the old solution, where the files keep their original names.
Also when using fckeditor, it is not very helpful, to browse through the cryptic names...

phpwcms separates editing of articles, and editing of structure quite hard.
But in many cases, a redactor should be able to add, change or remove new Sub-Menu points.
Only solution i see right now (RC 1.1. RC4) is to allow the users to be administators. But then they can have accesss in ...

Thanks, but its not really, what i want. I want to generate the alias in some way out of the given site structure.
So that i get then ...index.php?fotoalbum2004/winterimpressions. The part "fotoalbum2004" should be then the alias of the next higher level. And is search some way to get this ...
