I am using "checklogin" from the 1.4 release, and so far it seems to be working fine. Are/would there be any problems with this ??

Tried it, Still the same result.

Also this problem is much worst on Internet Explorer. Sometimes it won't even let me login.

I usualy use Firefox and can login, but with the said problems..


I was wondering if I could use "checklogin.php" from 1.4 ?

tested on 4 different computers all-
windows XP professional
browsers used "Internet Explorer, Firefox"
no fire walls or firewalls disabled.

I have the tried
a higer "max_time" (5800000) in conf.inc.php
editing my php.ini file to match (5800000)
upgraded to your new checklogin file

but I still get logged out. their isn't really an amount of time that it happens
but it does it all the time every session. I a matter of 10 min's ...

I searched and searched for a resoloution before I started this thread .
I did not find the solution for this problem by searching.

But if I could please get some help it would be great ...

I had previously installed 1.1 (4) on this same server without any problems.
Instead of upgrading to 1.9 I removed all files and cleared the DB , and did a fresh install of 1.9,

everything works except I keep on getting logged out.

Their is no real patern that I have noticed.
