Today I installed the actual MySQL server, actual php version and the new 1.3 phpwcms. I backuped the phpwcms database of the 1.2.8 version I had before. So I updated the phpwcms database chosing the scripts 1.2.7->1.2.9 and 1.2.9->1.3.

I didn't need to update because I installed mysql before. There was no phpwcms database before installing phpwcms 1.2.8 (incl. the patch).

The other thing with changing the php script did not work.

Now I have my webmaster and I can login to backend. I defined some basic layout. Now I wanted to add one first article to the Home level. But it cannot be inserted into the database:

INSERT INTO phpwcms_article (article_cid, article_uid ...

So it means I need to fill my webmaster data into the table myself? I didn't dare because I'm confused about the rechte field. If I set it to 0 it still has all rights?

I'm frustrated. I tried to set up a new phpwcms on my home PC. There does not seem to be a database mistake as the tables are created correctly (at least I think so, cannot find any error log). The structure looks fine to me. But I cannot create the webmaster account in phpwcms. It always says ...

While updating from 1.1.9 I've got the following error:

Hmmmm, irgendwie wisst Ihr mehr als ich. Woher habt Ihr das mit update_filestorage.php etc.? Dann ist ja klar, warum mein eines Bild nur Fehlermeldungen erzeugt. Liegt auch hierin die Ursache dafür, dass ich keine neuen Bilder uploaden kann?

Jetzt habe ich noch mal den setup-Ordner mit all seinen ...

PS: I noticed that editing of the articles works although this error message is shown. But I really cannot upload images.

It's done, parts of it even less restrictive, because the CSS file still couldn't be loaded. Now everything is shown correctly but still I cannot edit articles or upload images.

Now it basically works but it shows php error messages every time. When I look at the start screen it shows the following messages:
Warning: is_dir(): Stat failed for /srv/www/htdocs/phpwcms/phpwcms_template/inc_script/frontend_init (errno=13 - Permission denied) in /srv/www/htdocs ...

I try to upgrade the phpwcms. I did backup the old version, unzipped the new version, I replaced the files I had changed before.

So I followed the instructions but whenever I try to start the setup/upgrade.php I get the dbdown.php with the message:
new phpwcms install?
