I have just found the answer to my post!
For everyone else who is having the same problem, this is what you do..
Go to the config.inc file (found in config/phpwcms/) and then change the value of $phpwcms["content_width"] - the default value is 538, you can change this to what ever ...

Hi Everyone,
I am using 1.2.5, and am having problem with the image sizes using the Image Content Part!
I am trying to get 4 columns of images, and display the images as large as possible, but for some reason, the max image width is always set to 127! It will never go any higher when I change this ...

Did not work. I have manually uploaded the database from my old version as well - all works fine in the front end, but i cannot login to the backend using my username and password.

hmmm.... this seems to get more interesting...
my idea of trying to install a clean install in a new directory did not work (worth a shot though). When I got to the final setup page, it gave me a list of files that needed attention (shown in red) and it normally says exist + writeable/not writeable ...

Hi Ben,
Thanks for those ideas. Have tried all of those but no luck.
I am now trying to install a fresh version of phpwcms that i have successfully installed on other servers i the past. I can then figure out if it is infact my installation of phpwcms or a problem on the server.

Hi Ben,
I have disabled mod_rewrite in the conf.ini file, and renamed my htaccess file. It is quite strange becuase now when i click on pages, it doesnt give me errors, it just simply doesnt display the content.
I know the database is connected, otherwise my templates would not be showing up!!

Hi Again,
Sorry its fixed now! :)
I changed the CHMOD for the conf_indexpage.inc.php to 777 and all was fine!
Have never had this problem before though.
