Got an answer from my provider. The do have defined an alias on config. They are looking in to it right now to see what the consequences are if it is removed for my domain.

edit: at 11.00 am my provider responded that they had removed all symbolic links from config. It is working ...

Oliver, It looks like that there is a pathproblem indeed. If I try to open the file in my browser I am redirected to my inlogscreen for the controlpanel.

Gonna check my hoster again

I checked if the file is there and compared it with the distribution. They are exactly the same. To be sure I copied the file to the root and changed the include file to point to that one. No change :cry:

I installed 1.2.8 with patch G. This is a complete fresh install on a purged server. When I want to create an article I got an error loading the interface:
error loading ..../config/phpwcms/fckeditor_config.js.php
So the toolbar is not loaded. If I change wysiwyg.editor.inc.php to load phpwcms ...

I removed all the newsletters and subscribers from the system using the backend interface.

Going to the newsletter subscription section I see my newsletter categories and an edit and delete button. Edit is working but there is no link attached on the delete button ...

I created a newsletter in the message backend using the text version.
When I send the message using the default mailhandler (mail), the newsletter is send to the choosen recipients.

Opening the mail there is no content shown :!:

you could try to deinstall all, including the databasefiles and install a previous version, let say the june distribution. If this will function your php setup is ...

I don't know if you are able to change the php variables
All are emty on my setup (they report no value) and in the config the root is also an empty string.

You should try this:
in the CSS file:
#mymenu { css defs }
and some dedicated sub classes like
#mymenu a:link { }
#mymenu a:visited { }
#mymenu a:hoover {}

With this etup you could change the appearance of the menu when you hoover over or click the items.
