After investigating the CPanel of the host we're using, I ran across the ability to turn on the PHP display errors. When logging into the CMS, this is what was returned

Warning: session_start(): open(path, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in /vservers/illinbk3dcd3d/htdocs/login.php on line ...

It turns out I can't manipulate the php.ini file. However, I did discover that:
This needs to be set to "on" for the login to work correctly, right?

Check that the session folder specified in "php.ini" exists and has free space!

I just found the php.ini file on my FTP. What should I look for?

Ok, posted the session files and the scripts do not appear to be working. It appears to be a session issue, right?

I don't know if this is useful, but thought I'd throw up here as more info for debugging. The site worked fine on both originally.

I've tried a couple of things wihtout any luck:

1. tried $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'] and it appears to be right (http://www.illinoislegalaidonline.org).
2. added the following to the config file $phpwcms['root'] = '';
3. I set the following in the config file based on info provided by the document ...

When checking out the DB, all user fields were 0, so I don't think that's the issue.

I ran across this link, http://www.phpwcms-docu.de/error_messages.phtml and going to give this a shot.

I'm contacting my host, to see if they can set

It appears to be an issue with the database. What's the best way to resolve this?
