You mention XP service pack 2, but my machine is at service pack 1. It doesn't sound like that is the issue.

I guess no one has come up with a solution for this. Is there anything else I can try?

The article that DeXXus quoted says versions PREVIOUS to v6 command line is different. It might be the issue, but I'm not sure why some thumbnails work and some don't.

that's the way I have the path to ImageMagick specified in the config.

As I stated in my first message, I can run convert from the command line, but I always navigate to the directory C:\ImageMagick before I run convert. Are you wondering if that directory is available in the PATH statement? I didn't try that! It still doesn't make sense why some files convert and ...

I don't have the images anywhere but on my harddrive. The server that I have ImageMagick and phpwcms on is behind a firewall, on a private network.

I guess there is no way to make attachments here?
