Ive checked that the phpwcms isnt set to root but to its installed dir of phpwcms. Any ideas?

Just returns to the logon screen

Renamed the over version of the site to phpwcms.old
uploaded the new version to phpwcms

copied settings as they were from the working site to the updated site
all went ok

tried to logon
and now I cant logon to the site to get to the back end.

Any ideas? Let me know what informtion you need to ...

managed to get this far with my site so far but lacking inspiration on how to make it look less plain.

Please igore the nav tables being the way they are im still working on that but its the page itself that im seeking feedback on.

Is it possible to have navigation or anything similar in the spacer section of the template?

In that case then, how can i make the front page more dynamic? or would i have to update the front manually?

When displaying categories to list items in that category.. such as

Cases
..Xion
..Antec
Graphics Cardes
..Ati
....X800
....Radeon 8500

etc etc

Hello again. I wasnt aware that when you creat content the front page creates itself.

Shall try the thing to show articles on the front page and see what happens. Anyway to show images along with the content?

phew have just managed to roll back. it seems the problem lied with content.article.inc.php

Anyone got any thoughts on what could be wrong?

Im temped to re install again to clear it all out to start from scratch but that seems a little harsh

So when i creat articles and set them to live teh Index page will automatically update and create itself?

If thats the case how can i get the following setup

small image to the left of a paragraph of text which is generated from the summary of an article?

Ok what I am confused about is the index.php. Am I correct in thinking that the index.php points to a blank file to start with?
