Files referred to in "nav_vert_fly_out.css" missing

I'm trying to use Stu's fine menu.
http://www.phpwcms-howto.de/wiki/doku.php/english/navigation/dropdown-flyout/nav_vert_fo points to the phpwcms wiki article on this fine menu.
Three lines in "nav_vert_fly_out.css" refer to files that don't exist in my PHPwcms distribution.
background:#d4d8bd url(../../img/article/navi/shade.gif);
background:#d4d8bd url(../../img/article/navi/sub.gif) no-repeat right center;
background:transparent url(../../img/article/navi/transparent.gif);

The "navi" directory doesn't exist either!
I've faked a replacement for "transparent.gif", but I can't figure out what the other two do.

I'd appreciate any help

That's exactly what I needed. I had sort of figured out what the files were, but I feel better having them from Stu.

As my mom used to say "If it was a snake it would have bit me". I'm embarrassed, but thankful.

Incidentally, Stu's menus are fantastic.
