I don't think is the .htaccess because there is none. I deleted it because i never needed it. If I need one, i'd like to know what content it should say. Here's what my hosting company had to say about Power Mode: Thank you for your request to turn on PHP "Power Mode" Here are some VERY IM...

Hello DF,

Thanks for the reply. Yes I am aware that PHP is now running as CGI, but I still don't understand why my phpWCMS doesn't want to work anymore...

I tried looking for that directory you told me but it was nowhere to be seen, any ideas?

Power Mode ON - 500 Internal Server Error

Hello guys, I had version 1.9 working perfectly in a web site. Then I installed a shopping cart which required safe-mode to be OFF. So I called my hosting company (Media Temple) and they activated the Power Mode (a work around to the safe mode) since they can't turn the safe-mode off in a shared ser...

Newsletter Problem - Please check email address!

Hello everyone, I have a problem on one of my sites running phpWCMS v1.2.5-DEV. When I first added the newsletter content part in the home page, in the {LEFT} block, everything worked fine. I was able to subscribe myself to the newsletter successfully. When I added the same content part in a differe...

Yes, that one looks good.

I guess anything that achieves the smooth sliding effect would do. I myself thought that it may be easier to do with ypSlideOut, but if anyone knows how to do either of those, would make a lot of people really happy!

:D Thanks!

Kosse, I've done the transparent menu thing before using css. I'm more interested in seeing the menus slide out and pull the menu data from the database. Here's a demo of the hard-coded TransMenus from http://www.youngpup.net : http://youngpup.net/_projectDirectories/transmenus/demos/photos/index.h...

tobo wrote:The menu is ypslideoutmenus, and if it were possible to integrate them with phpwcms, and dynamically fill them with menuchoices... well, it would be great. So, have anyone done that?
Or can somebody with the skills give it a try?

Slide Out Dropdown Menu

Hello everyone, Right now I'm using the CSS {DROPDOWN} menu. But I was wondering if it's possible to modify it to "slide out" as it is show in the following web site: http://jimmac.musichall.cz This site also uses a JavaScript usually found on the internet under the name of ypSlideOutMenus...

With those changes I just get the error repeated 3 times instead of 2 like before (above). I also check that there weren't any space between <?php and ?>. What else could it be? Is it the paths that is wrong for sure? Look at this, I think it's weird: Warning: main(/home/virtual/site333/fst/var/www/...

Backend: Lots of " failed to open stream: No such file.

Ok first of all I'll post the errors, then the conf.inc.php file and then I'll describe my server. I am using version 1.2.1 of phpWCMS. Errors on backend: Warning: main(home/virtual/site333/fst/var/www/html/boonealumninews.com/include/inc_ext/hft_image/hft_image.php): failed to open stream: No such ...

Hi Pico,

Well I checked that one the config.inc.php and phpwcms.php file. Neither had a space character in those places.

Any other ideas? :?

BACKEND: Startup text/Article creation NOT showing.

Did I search the forums: Yes. Did I find the answer: Whatcha think? phpWCMS Version: 1.1.9 Well this is my problem: I have a shared server and I currently have 2 working phpwcms sites. Now I added a 3rd one (each has it's own domain name and directory) and this 3rd one is not working properly. When ...

No frontend login?

I don't know where I heard that V2.0 would include a frontend login option. So that some part of the site would be private. Has this been done yet?

Or should I stick with some of the mods on the 'hacks and enhancements' forum?
